I run
I digitally record my kilometres throughout 2027 and share updates on the challenge.
A personal challenge · 1 January — 31 December 2027
In 2027 I turn 40. I want to celebrate by running at least 3,650 km and turning every kilometre into tangible support for research and care for children.
Help Andrea take on his challenge: every kilometre can bring a little more hope.
An initiative created and led by Andrea Businaro in support of Fondazione Città della Speranza.
One kilometre at a time, one hope at a time.
The challenge in numbers
An average of ten kilometres a day. Each run will be recorded and the total updated periodically. If I exceed the goal, the extra kilometres will count too.
The counter will be updated with the kilometres actually run in 2027.
How it works
The Foundation receives each donation directly. Andrea tracks his runs and updates the site without collecting or handling money.
I digitally record my kilometres throughout 2027 and share updates on the challenge.
You can make a one-off donation or, as a business, pledge an amount for each kilometre completed.
The bank transfer goes directly to Fondazione Città della Speranza using the official payment reference. No money passes through Andrea.
This is my personal commitment: I will donate €1 to the Foundation for every kilometre I actually run. At 3,650 km, that will be at least €3,650; if I run further, I will donate for those extra kilometres too.
Who the initiative supports
Founded in 1994, Fondazione Città della Speranza has supported paediatric research and families of young patients for over thirty years.
The Foundation supports study, scientific research and care for childhood illnesses, with particular attention to paediatric blood cancers and rare diseases.
It funds research and diagnostic projects, supports the Pediatric Research Institute, and contributes to care for children and their families. It also promotes public understanding of science.
Its office is in Malo, near Vicenza. Its research and care network has an important centre in Padua, home to the Pediatric Research Institute and the Paediatric Oncohaematology Clinic.
